Cancellations
Late Arrivals In the event that you are running late, we will do our best to conduct your full treatment, however, please note that the treatment may need to be shortened in case of conflicting commitment. City Magnolia reserves the right to charge 100% of the service price when accommodating late clients. The reservation of an appointment indicates that City Magnolia has reserved the service time for you and therefore has had to decline other customers business for that particular service time at the spa. In the event your late arrival results in not being able to provide the service due to another conflicting commitment, the “no show” cancellation fee will apply.
Cancellation Policy/ReschedulingIf you should need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you inform us by the previous day’s closing time. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in 25% of the service price charged. No-calls/shows will result in 50% of the service price charged. 
Inclement Weather PolicyThe City Magnolia standard policy is that appointments canceled with less than 24-hour notice incur a cancellation fee. During the winter months, we are willing to make an exception to that rule. If Frederick County is under a winter weather advisory/warning and you believe that it would be unsafe or impossible for you to travel to your appointment, you may reschedule within the 24-hour window at no charge. Additionally, in the event of inclement weather, City Magnolia reserves the right to close and cancel appointments for the day if we feel it is unsafe for our clients and staff.
COVID-19 FAQs
What time should I arrive for my appointment?
To maintain appropriate social distancing, we ask that you please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment. This will assist us in making sure all guests are taken care of in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. We also ask that you call the spa when you arrive, and wait for a front desk associate to tell you to come inside.

Am I required to wear a mask?
Yes. We are asking all clients and employees to wear masks while inside of City Magnolia Day Spa. When appropriate, your technician will let you know when you may remove your mask. Please remember that masks protect yourself and others from the spread of viruses.

Will I be able to get a drink during my appointment?
No. For the immediate future, we are suspending our drink services to protect our guests from spreading germs through bottles, cups, etc. You are welcome to bring your own bottles with your drink of choice, please keep that drink with you and make sure you take it with you when you leave. Any containers left in the building will be discarded. Please do not bring food to your appointment unless it is medically necessary.

Can friends and family join me at my appointment if they do not have a service?
No. While we adjust to necessary restrictions regarding social distancing, set forth by the state, we ask that only service recipients enter the building during their service. Furthermore, we cannot accept groups of larger than 3 at this time.

What should I bring with me?
For the immediate future, we ask that you bring as little as possible into the spa with you, as we will not have lockers available. We will be asking clients to change in the treatment room.

What should I do if I don’t feel well?
Reschedule. The only way to stop the spread of infections and viruses is if we stay home when we do not feel well. Please call us as soon as you begin to notice symptoms and we will get you rescheduled. Please note we reserve the right to deny any person a service if we feel they risk the safety and health of our team.

Should I anticipate delays in my services?
Yes. Due to our stringent sanitation standards and need to keep social distancing, there will be situations where your technician may be delayed. We will be doing everything we can to move your appointment in an efficient manner.

Gift Cards legal disclaimer:

This Gift Card represents the pre-payment for goods and services available at City Magnolia Day Spa. Usage constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions. This Gift Card must be presented at the time of service/purchase to deduct total from the card balance. Additional value may be added to this card at any time. Receipt indicates purchase total and available card balance. This is not a credit card, debit card, asset account or deposit account and is not valid for payment against credit card balances. This card is not the redeemable for cash or transferable. All prices are subject to change. Card is replaceable for a fee if lost, damaged or destroyed – original receipt may be required.

Gratuities

Gratuity for exemplary service is discretionary. Unless noted, gift certificates for spa packages do not include gratuities. We accept all major credit cards, for your convenience. Gratuities may be added to your charge card or check.

Group Reservation Fee

For any group of 4 or more people, with more than 1 service booked on the same day, a reservation fee of $100 will be added on to your total. 

 

Personal Property

We do provide lockers for personal items to be stored during your visit; however, we do request that you do not bring valuables to the spa.

Privacy

We respect your privacy, and understand that the more assured you are that your modesty will be protected, the faster you can relax and we can do our work more effectively. That’s why we created an environment that accommodates different levels of privacy. We offer separate men’s and women’s locker rooms with private shower in each. Also, all clients are fully draped during their service.

Return Policy

For quality control purposes and to preserve the reputation of our products, we guarantee that none of the items that are purchased from City Magnolia Day Spa are returns from a previous sale. Therefore, we will not offer refunds for product purchases. However, if you are not satisfied with a product, you may return it within 30 days of purchase for store credit or for a one-time product exchange.

Spa Lunch

Disclaimer: Spa Lunch will only be served Monday – Thursday. Any packages including a spa lunch during the weekend can be substituted for add-on services, or spa lunch cost could be removed from the package total. Refreshments will be available Friday – Sunday.

What Expect Upon Arrival?

Please come and enjoy our Spa at your own pace. We invite you to arrive 15 minutes prior to the time of your appointment to allow for a smooth check-in. Robes, slippers, disposable undergarments and towels will be provided.
