Job Summary:

The Spa Manager is responsible for overall operations and financial performance for the spa. He/she ensures the implementation and integrity of standards, policies, and procedures to deliver the most relaxing and a Spa Day experience to our clients. He/she provides leadership, direction, and development to team members, leveraging individual strengths to ensure the success of City Magnolia. The Spa Manager reports directly to City Magnolia Owner.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Human Resources and Management
  • Effective recruiting, interviewing and hiring
  • Maintain internal staff retention program
  • Implement ongoing skills training
  • Monitor Job Descriptions and Staff Goals Planning
  • Perform Staff Evaluations
  • Effectively administer staff scheduling procedures
  1. Customer Engagement
  • Ensure customer needs are exceeded
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
  • Exhibit a professional attitude
  • Handle difficult situations
  • Maintain fresh, effective programs to grow customer base
  1. Operations·
  • Hold regular staff meetings
  • Ensure equipment is maintained
  • Maintain professional supplier relationships
  • Ensure stock and cash items are kept safely
  • Minimize or eliminate loss through negligence
  • Ensure established opening and closing procedures are being properly followed
  • Manage inventory effectively
  1. Financials
  • Interpret Financial reports
  • Maintain Staff Compensation guidelines and payroll commitments
  • Use financial plans for spotting trends and measuring productivity
  • Control ongoing profitability by managing costs
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory controls
  • Implement full Spa purchasing standards
  • Administer efficient staff scheduling and client booking

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Operations· 2+ years of Management role
  • Experience with Spa Operations
  • Demonstrates passion for massage, skin care and day spa experience
  • Demonstrates time management, organization, and focuses on ability to prioritize and multi-task, with attention to detail
  • Ability to articulate thoughts into clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Outstanding leadership skills with high, positive energy
  • Inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead a team, train talent and generate results
  • Willing and able to be a “doer” and “influencer”
  • Ability to balance the need of delivering an exceptionally relaxing experience, and a profitable result
  • Revenue and Profit Making Orientation

Salary: $35,000- $45,000.00 /year + Bonuses
